Animal Crossing: New Horizons Game Introduction

Animal Crossing New Horizons came out on March 20th, 2020. This is a game made by the Japanese video game company, Nintendo. New Horizons was made for Nintendo's most recent console, the Nintendo Switch. This new game is the eighth made for the Animal Crossing series of games that Nintendo has created.

Animal Crossing New Horizons follows the previous Animal Crossing games made in the past, but this version of the game has the player on a "deserted" island. Animal Crossing main series games follow the pattern of the player, moving somewhere new, buying a house, and helping the community they live in grow. The player of Animal Crossing is always represented as a human being, while the other characters in the video game are cute sentient animals.

Since New Horizons is on an island, the player moves to the island, along with two other animal villagers. Where the owners of the island, Tom Nook, Timmy and Tommy, all raccoons, help the player start to collect, explore, and create different aspects on the island. Stores, a museum, more villagers, will come to the island as the player progresses through out the game. In the end it is all up to the player how they want to develop their island and their community.

I, myself have been playing this game since March 23rd. I have throughly enjoyed this edition to the Animal Crossing Series. From the graphics to the game play, there is so much for me to do in this game. I have spent the past four days, catching fish and bugs, planting trees and flowers, crafting tools and furniture. One of the big features of the game is using resources to help develop places on the island. I have gotten a museum, a general store, and a clothing sale hut to come island. This game brings such enjoyment to me from it's amazing graphics to interactive gameplay that really allows the user to feel at peace. I am featuring some screenshots I took of my gameplay footage. My future posts will go into the many different aspects of the game.
